Rough roads and uneven ground can rattle a trailer apart if the suspension isn’t doing its job. This double-eye leaf spring flexes to resist road shock so the frame and cargo stay steady. Each of its 3 leaves works together to smooth out bumps and maintain a level ride, cutting down the wear and tear that happens when the suspension bottoms out or bounces too much.
Matching spring strength with axle rating makes all the difference in how a trailer tows. This spring is rated at 1,750 lbs per side for a total axle capacity of 3,500 lbs, giving it the proper balance of support and flexibility. That means it carries the weight without stiffening the ride or throwing off the suspension geometry.
Each spring is formed from tough 3/8"-thick steel leaves and built to stay strong over thousands of miles. The 23-1/8" eye-to-eye length fits standard double-eye hangers, and the 9/16" nylon-bushed eyes pivot smoothly on the bolts for quiet, consistent movement. The design keeps the axle aligned while letting it move freely to follow the road.
One end of the spring mounts directly to a welded hanger on the trailer frame, and the other connects to shackle straps suspended from a hanger or equalizer. Its size and shape are dialed in for standard 3,500-lb suspension hardware, so it installs cleanly in place of worn-out springs. For even wear and proper alignment, springs should always be replaced in pairs.

Seems to be a great product. I've had them for a year now. I tow my Polaris xp4 around with my trailer equipped with the springs. trailer rides and tracks well. I would recommend this to anyone building or respringing a trailer.
These springs were the perfect fit for my Fleetwood Prowler camper. E-Trailer did an outstanding job at delivering the order. During installation I found the original shackles were worn out, so I made another order for the Dexter Heavy Duty Suspension kit. This was also delivered fast and on time. One year later, the springs are holding up like new. I have trailer-ed our ATVs down to HatfieldMcCoy, numerous trips to NH with quads & Jeep and hauled heavy firewood rounds. I highly recommend them.
Best decision I’ve made with the boat trailer was to replace the OEM springs. The original dealer put the wrong length springs and didn’t want to warranty their mistake. The boat rides better with the new springs supplied by etrailer.

This is the second set of springs that completes my project. My 2006 Prowler camper has a new suspension system. The heavy duty Dexter suspension parts and springs was the easiest installation I have done. Kudos to all at E-Trailer from receiving to packaging to shipping all was above board. After a year all parts used in my upgrade have worked out great. The ride during all towing is smooth and straight. I’m well satisfied with the products.
The spring eyes were not round causing the bushings to be distorted.
Still in place on my travel trailer. Working well and without any issues.

Hey Tim. The new suspension looks great on your trailer, the old ones definitely has seen some better days. What are you hauling on your trailer?
These springs feel nice and solid. I replaced the plastic bushings with bronze ones from a Moryde wet bolt kit.
